Transfer Credits
Transfer credits may be granted to students who have completed courses at other post-secondary educational institutions provided the course content and standards are acceptable to the Association. Students who seek transfer credits must submit official transcripts when applying for admission. Those who have completed courses outside of Canada must also provide course descriptions or a program syllabus. Academic transfer credits are not granted on the basis of work experience. Students may be offered a challenge exam when course content or standards are not judged to be adequate.
Current CGA students may complete approved equivalent courses at post-secondary institutions for transfer credit to many courses on the CGA program, provided the student maintain active student status by paying the full basic tuition fee. Students enrolled as non-active may not transfer courses completed during the non-active year.
