Top Ten – Each year CGA-BC acknowledges the academic achievements of its Top Ten graduating students by placing an article about their achievements in our Sessions Express publication. These individuals also receive a Certificate of Recognition from the Association. Individuals, who achieve this honour, had the highest overall average exam scores for all CGA exams written while on the CGA program.
Honors – Each year, following the release of the September exams results for Session 4, CGA-BC honours students and new graduates who, in the past academic year, wrote a minimum of two CGA examinations and averaged 80 per cent or higher on all exams attempted and received an “H” or Honours if the PA1 or PA2 examination was written during the past academic year. Business Cases, public speaking, and marks from degree partners (SAIT, and LU) are not included in this calculation, and DNQs count as a zero for the purposes of calculating average exam scores.
Highest Exam Marks – After each academic exam session, CGA-BC students, who achieved the highest final grade amongst their peers within the session for that exam receive a letter of acknowledgement from the Association acknowledging their outstanding achievement within the exam and with their consent, their names are posted under the ‘Exam Statistics and Highest Mark’ section of our website.
