Registration and Cancellation Policies
Payment must be received at time of registration. Returned payments will be subject to a $40 processing fee. Transfer to another session will be allowed up to seven days (21 days for The Essence of Controllership and Costing and Decision-Making for Controllers) prior to the seminar start date and only for substitute seminars taking place before June 30 each year. Refunds for cancellations less a $50 (plus tax) processing fee will be given provided the Association receives written notice seven days (21 days for The Essence of Controllership and Costing and Decision-Making for Controllers) before the seminar date. The registration fee will be forfeited for cancellation within seven days of the seminar start date. Non-attendance ("no-show") counts as cancellation on the day and will not receive a registration fee refund. The Association reserves the right to cancel seminars due to insufficient registration.
Seminar fees may be tax deductible if the total exceeds $100 for each year. Please read the “Eligible Tuition Fees” guidelines on the CRA website to see if you qualify. Income tax receipts will not be issued. Please retain your payment receipt and include the necessary information on Schedule 11 of your personal income tax return to claim your seminar fees.
An e-receipt will be sent to your preferred email address once your seminar registration has been completed. If you do not receive your e-receipt, please call the PD Department. No refunds will be provided for failure to receive a seminar e-receipt or e-reminder. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the PD Department.
Seminar Locations and Dates
