CGA Dominates Accounting Education

Congratulations to all new CGA grads, including a sizeable group who are past graduates of BCIT's Financial Management diploma program.

97 past graduates of BCIT's Financial Management diploma program obtained a professional accounting designation in the last year. Of those 97, 71 of them achieved their CGA designation. So, of the 97 diploma grads who became designated accountants, the majority—73 per cent—chose CGA.

CGA continues to be the program of choice for the majority. Of all accounting students in B.C. pursuing a professional designation, 67 per cent have chosen CGA.
