CGA-BC’s Annual Conference in Victoria

Victoria, B.C. – More than 750 of the province’s leading accountants are set to convene in Victoria for the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia’s annual conference.
With its stunning harbor and Pacific Ocean vistas, B.C.’s beautiful capital city will provide a spectacular backdrop for CGA-BC’s 59th annual conference. The historic Fairmont Empress Hotel will serve as the focal point for all events, which include an exceptional roster of motivational speakers as well as a wide array of professional development seminars by some of the accounting industry’s leading experts.
In addition to keynote presentations by David Baxter and Dr. Kenford Nedd, attendees will hear about the latest developments and trends in accounting, technology, and management from such experts at Ed Kroft, QC, LLB, LLM, CGA (Hon.), Deborah Graystone, BSc, TEP, CGA, Nick Shepherd, FCMC, CGA, and Alan Salmon.
As the province’s largest professional accounting association, CGA-BC represents more than 14,000 CGAs and students. Members work in industry, commerce, government and in public practice. The Association promotes the excellence of its members and advances the accounting profession through education, certification and the protection of the public interest.
The Association offers a wide range of employment services and programs to its members, students and the business community.
