Convocation 2013 Date Set for November 2, 2013
Students approaching graduation, set this date aside: Saturday, November 2, 2013.
That's the day CGA students cross the stage and receive their CGA pins, receive scholarships, and recite the Oath of Obligation. It's when friends, family, co-workers and the Association recognize you as graduates.
Convocation and the evening's dinner and dance will be held at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre West located at 1055 Canada Place.

Congratulations to All of Our 2012 Graduates
British Columbia’s largest accounting body has done it again. At an unforgettable November 10 convocation ceremony in which 457 graduates were celebrated, the Association added substantially to its membership. Family, friends, co-workers and other well-wishers cheered as the newly graduated Certified General Accountants accepted their CGA pins, received awards, and recited the Oath of Obligation. Congratulations to the CGA-BC graduating class of 2012.
CGA-BC’s 2012 Graduating Class will add 457 new members
More than 300 CGA graduates are expected to walk across the stage to receive their CGA designation at CGA-BC’s 2012 Convocation.
The Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia is welcoming 457 new Certified General Accountants into membership this year and more than 300 of these newly minted CGAs are expected to attend Convocation on November 10, 2012 at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre West in Vancouver.
The ceremony will mark the culmination of a demanding professional program in which each graduate passed a rigorous series of accounting courses and exams, met stringent requirements for practical experience and demonstrated a strict adherence to the highest professional standards.
More than 2,000 friends, family members, and dignitaries, including representatives from more than 30 post-secondary institutions and professional bodies, are expected to join the class of 2012 to celebrate their accomplishments.
