CGA-BC has terminated discussions with the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Society of Management Accountants of British Columbia.
May 18—Provincial Act Creates CPA Quebec; Board of Directors Announced
Bill 61 has received assent, creating the Ordre des CPA du Quebec. Under the Act, Quebec’s 35,000 CGAs, CMAs and CAs will be the first to use the CPA designation.
